This past Sunday, Pastor Rick preached a sermon entitled, "What 'Real Life' Faith Looks Like." Following his sermon, many in our church family presented cardboard testimonies about God's power in their lives through faith. It was a powerful time of worship and reminds us that no matter where we've been or what we've been through, faith in Christ can give us the hope, strength and perseverance to overcome life's struggles.
Yesterday our media ministry posted an on-line video of the cardboard testimonies from "The Gathering." Within 24 hours, the video had been viewed more than 1,000 times. It's humbling to see how God is using this experience to reach others in our community who need a word of encouragement.
Thank you to those who shared part of your faith journey with us Sunday. Your example to our church and community is inspiring. Also, to those who are sharing the video on Facebook, Twitter and other networks... thank you for extending hope to those within your peer groups. You may never know how much someone you care about needs it. Together, we CAN spread the Good News and impact people's lives. Connect. Share. Make a Difference.
